The use of keepnets is discouraged to avoid unnecessary stress to fish.

The use of ground bait is allowed but its use kept to a minimum.

Whilst fly fishing…………………………..

Fish Limit - Only 2 fish can be taken by any trout member in any one week. Once limit is reached or on any subsequent visit during the same week then “catch and release” must be used.

All Waters

Guests can be taken, but a member of the committee must be contacted beforehand to get permission. The same guest must not attend with a member on more than 2 occasions in a season. Trout members guests are only allowed to fish catch and release.

All Guests must leave the waters when the member leaves.

Fishermen and guests must have left the waters by published lighting up times. No night fishing.

No litter or abandoned tackle to be left on the banks, in Boats, Bothys or on the Farmland.

Membership cards to be carried when on waters and surrendered on demand for inspection.

Respect for other anglers, farm property and neighbours to be shown at all times.

Care must be taken when handling fish and they must be returned or when appropriate dispatched as soon as possible.

Barbless hooks to be used at all times.
